Disappointed in Native American People portrayed in book. I grew up with many Native American children in Elementary School and my best friend in high school was Yurok and had wonderful Native American friends in college. Color and background made no difference. I taught a variety of tribal youngpeople. We loved and respected one-another. This attitude portrayed takes our relationships 3 steps backward. There havebeen wonderful interracial marriages. I am sad for feeling portrayed.
